Uticon continues as part of Royal HaskoningDHV

Royal HaskoningDHV has acquired the Dutch-Belgian company Uticon, an engineering firm focused on the food industry. This gives the company even more knowledge of Food & Beverage production facilities and processes. As a result, clients can now be supported from A to Z when it comes to new construction or expansion of their factories – from feasibility to implementation.

We are delighted to welcome the Uticon team

The acquisition is the next step in our existing successful collaboration on many projects. Together, we can provide clients in the food and beverage industry with a comprehensive range of services and continue to grow.

Marije Hulshof - CEO
Marije continues: "Food & Beverage is one of our focus areas within the industry where we have faced limited growth potential due to a tight labour market. Going forward we can handle larger integrated projects spanning Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) while focussing on making food and beverage production more sustainable."

René de Roos, Managing Director of Uticon: "This is also the next step for us to realise our growth ambitions. By joining forces, we gain access to international markets, other clients, services and locations of Royal HaskoningDHV. This is not only good for the business, but – at least as important – also gives our employees new growth and development opportunities. A win-win on all fronts."
