Since joining Royal HaskoningDHV in 2020, Ashleigh has made important contributions to major projects with particular focus on the water and offshore wind sectors. Recently she has coordinated and chaired several Expert Topic Group meetings with stakeholders for a range of onshore topics, actively contributing to efforts to minimise disruption to residents and reduce impact on landscape and biodiversity during onshore construction.
Ashleigh said: “I enjoy working on projects that contribute to the UK’s energy transition to renewables, I see driving change in this field as being essential to delivering a more sustainable future for my generation and generations to come.”
In addition to project work, Ashleigh led the UK’s branch of Royal HaskoningDHV’s Young organisation – a network of the company’s young professionals, or those new to the industry, which seeks to share knowledge, experience, and support the company’s commitment to enhancing society together. As part of this, Ashleigh coordinated litter picking events for the UK team on World Cleanup Day 2023, with the group contributing over 200 hours of social value.
