In 2019, Royal HaskoningDHV, a leading Dutch engineering, consultancy, and technology firm, took the initiative to organise a groundbreaking event for the railway supply chain. The focus? Building Information Modeling (BIM)—a transformative approach that the railway industry had yet to fully embrace.Why BIM matters?
The railway sector, while essential, had been somewhat slower in adopting BIM compared to other industries. BIM offers immense benefits, from streamlined processes to enhanced collaboration across partners in the supply chain. Recognizing this gap, we launched the Annual BIM for Rail Bootcamp as a platform for knowledge exchange, inspiration, and acceleration.What to expect?
