We are proud of this achievement as this is a great recognition for all the actions we are taking. It allows clients and suppliers alike to map our conformance to market leading CSR practices and track the improvements that we make.
Integrated in business processes
The gold medal covers international standards on sustainable development like ISO 26000, UN Global Compact Principles, the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the CERES principles and the GRI Standards. The assessment by EcoVadis includes environment, labour practices & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. We value these subjects highly and we have integrated these in our business processes. We are proud to have consistently scored highly across all these areas. This year, EcoVadis granted us, once again, a ‘Leader’ position for our Carbon Management Level. Since the last assessment, our overall score has increased thanks to the implementation of additional policies.
Sustainability in the supply chain
Our CSR approach has also been incorporated in our general purchase conditions. They contain requirements for our partners and suppliers that comply with our Code of Conduct. By accepting these conditions, our suppliers are supporting our CSR practises. We aim to select suppliers that contribute to our goals.
