Royal HaskoningDHV maintains EcoVadis gold sustainability rating

At Royal HaskoningDHV, we place sustainability at the core of everything we do – from our approach to projects and innovations, to our own business operations. We are therefore proud to announce that, for the seventh consecutive year, we’ve been awarded a Gold medal in corporate social responsibility by EcoVadis.
This places us in the top 2% of architectural and engineering firms and in the top 5% for overall Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) performance among all companies rated.

Sustainability in the supply chain 

EcoVadis is among the world’s largest and most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings and scores more than 90,000 companies. It uses a methodology aligned to international sustainability standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative, UN Global Compact and ISO 26000. This means that our Gold medal is incredibly important to us, as it allows clients and suppliers alike to map our conformance to market leading CSR practices and track the improvements that we make. 

Our general purchase conditions contain requirements connected to our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach and comply with the Global Code of Business Principles for Partners and Suppliers since March 2013. By accepting these conditions, our suppliers are supporting our CSR goals. We seek to work as much as possible according to these terms and aim to select suppliers that contribute to our goals.

Leader in Carbon Management 

The assessment done by EcoVadis includes labour practices & human rights, fair business practices, anti-corruption and sustainable procurement. All subjects that have been integrated in our business processes. We are proud to have consistently scored highly across all these areas. This year, EcoVadis even granted us a ‘Leader’ position in carbon management.
