We deliver controller software for our products Nereda^®, Ephyra^® and Aquasuite^® advanced control and analytics software for our Aquasuite^® Machine Learning products. What you do as a Functional Application Engineer

     Our software is developed in-house and as a Functional Application Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimising our applications. You will work closely with our customers and internal teams to ensure that our applications function seamlessly and meet the needs of our users.

You will be responsible for:
• Managing, maintaining applications, and implementing new developments in the Azure Cloud environment
• Configuring and customising applications based on customer needs
• Provide support to customers and internal teams for technical questions and issues
• Functional testing
• Operational Quality - communication checks, analysis of signal quality, and assessment of product operational status

You work closely with product management, process technology and software delivery.

As our new Functional Application Engineer, you will become part of the Water Technology Products business unit or team.

     The Business Unit (BU) Water Technology Products (WTP) of the Business Line Water & Maritime delivers water technology products like Nereda^®, Ephyra^® and Aquasuite^® all over the world. With the ambitions of growth of our technology portfolio, we are looking for a colleague to strengthen our software delivery team for these exciting projects. We are a very international oriented BU, with colleagues of more than 10 nationalities working in different countries around the world.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a technical field
• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in managing cloud environments, the delivery of industrial process automation or software solutions
• You speak English fluently (speaking Dutch or other languages like Spanish, Italian or French works to your advantage)
• You are based in The Netherlands
• You are customer-oriented and have experience with stakeholder management
• You have a hands-on mentality and do not stop until quality is delivered
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Demonstrated experience with Azure is preferrable (nice to have)
