Data Stewardship Training

Unlock the value of data with this essential data management role

If your organisation wants to get more value from its data, the data steward is an essential role. They sit at the centre of your data management, connecting the policy with practical application.

Our interactive training will help you understand the practice of data stewardship, and help you grow in this increasingly important field. It’s designed for professionals with at least an HBO qualification, as well as some basic data management experience.

Topics covered in this training

Gain the knowledge, practice, and tools to tackle the data steward role

Our data stewardship training combines theory with practical exercises and individual reflection. It’s divided into four modules: building a common starting point, awareness, depth, and how to translate what you’ve learned to your organisation. As an additional option, we can use an intervision approach to share learning among your peers.

You’ll get access to the tools and resources needed to put data management into practice, augmenting existing frameworks – such as the DAMA-DMBOK – with our own experience to best apply it in practice.

With a focus on building the right practical and theoretical skills – combined with real-life experiences from course leaders and other participants – you’ll be ready to apply what you’ve learned from day one. And because we begin with a deep dive zero measurement, every minute builds on your existing knowledge.
