The project comprises the design of all bridges, viaducts, tunnels and noise barriers for the ring road in Alkmaar.
The impact of the road on the surrounding landscape increased because of the new multi level structures that were needed. It was our task to salvage the spatial relationship and to keep the landscape visible. This has resulted in some very special structures, open and slender and fluid in its appearance. Panoramas were restored and connections created. In this way we were able to offer the local residents and car users an unobstructed view on the surroundings.
