In the forum, experts from Royal HaskoningDHV are going to have a dedicated session themed “Building the Future Today with BIM Level 2”, where they will share their experience and successful case studies in implementing BIM into projects across the continents.
“It is a privilege for me to have the opportunity to share expertise and success stories in many BIM-related projects all over the world. From our extensive experience, we believe that this method evolves the industry to a whole new level, a clear coarse-to-fine approach combined with modern technology will provide industry players with a more accessible and reliable representation of the building ontology and characteristic of a building, throughout the whole life cycle and beyond” said Knol.
Commented about the industry progression in Indonesia in relation to BIM, Mario said, “Introducing BIM in the market is more relevant than ever, as Indonesia is currently experiencing a rapid progression in the building and infrastructure industry. This method will improve the decision-making process by enabling all collaborators to understand the design better, foresee potential risks and problems, and mitigate earlier, thus help to ensure a more sustainable growth for the industry in Indonesia.”
Royal HaskoningDHV Indonesia’s Director of Industry & Buildings, Bart Lemmens, expresses his thoughts on advocating BIM in Indonesia; “The Indonesia BIM Forum 2017 is a perfect momentum to introduce BIM added values for the industry to a wider audience. As a global engineering consultant with more than 135 years of experience globally in important projects all over the world, we have been witnessing the growing implementation of BIM within our industry. We hope that our case studies inspire the industry players and help them to see the added value that BIM can bring to their projects.”
Presentation from Royal HaskoningDHV’experts takes place at 9.50am in session 3 Garuda 8 room in Indonesia BIM Forum 2017, during the Indobuildtech event at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD South Tangerang. The forum, which organised by Institut BIM Indonesia (BIM Institution of Indonesia) aims to develop an optimal multidiscipline-BIM for Indonesia market.
