Royal HaskoningDHV has appointed Claire de Nerée tot Babberich as Corporate Director Communications & Brand as of 1 January 2021.

Claire de Nerée tot Babberich | RoyalHaskoningClaire will be responsible for developing and implementing the brand strategy, overall marketing campaign management and communication strategies to position the company going forward.

CEO Erik Oostwegel on the appointment: “Royal HaskoningDHV is a global, world-class engineering and consultancy brand with an almost 140-year heritage. As the markets we operate in are changing drastically because of climate change and digitisation, we are changing with it. Claire will lead our positioning to be a future-proof digital engineering consultancy ready for the next 140 years.”

Claire joins Royal HaskoningDHV from marketing agency Branddoctors. As senior strategist she provided marketing and communication advice on brand positioning, customer journey and proposition for a wide range of clients including Rabobank, Wageningen University & Research, iDEAL and Achmea. In 2015 she became partner in the agency, responsible for general management, strategy, acquisition and operations.
Before Branddoctors, Claire fulfilled various brand manager roles at Unilever.

Since 2014, Claire is also member of the Supervisory Board of Dutch youth hostels organisation Stayokay, and vice chairman since 2019.

Claire holds a Master’s degree in Technology, Policy and Management from Delft University of Technology.

Claire takes over from Flip Dötsch who decided to pursue his career outside the company.
