From the beginning of 2018, EnviDan entered into a cooperation agreement with Royal HaskoningDHV to implement the innovative Nereda wastewater treatment technology in Denmark and Sweden.
EnviDan is very pleased with the new cooperation agreement, which fits well with its strategy. The Nereda process complements EnviDan’s already large portfolio of advanced purification processes, and the company is pleased to have a partner that meets its demands in finding a more sustainable solution for treatment plants in the future.
Nereda technology was developed in 2006 and has since become a well-known method for the treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater. There are 21 plants that already use the technology and in 2018 construction on eight more Nereda plants is expected to commence, including Strömstad in Sweden. Nereda is an innovative method for advanced biological wastewater processing, which uses granular sludge for the treatment of wastewater.
