Royal HaskoningDHV is delighted to welcome German-based AERZEN to become part of the Nereda community as a preferred supplier. The company is renowned for delivering reliable, high-performing and energy-efficient blowers and screw compressors worldwide.

Nereda technology requires certain core pieces of equipment to ensure that the process works efficiently. The blowers that deliver air to the Nereda reactors were identified as fundamental to the overall operation of the Nereda technology. They are required to ensure that the wastewater is being aerated as efficiently as possible to guarantee aerobic biodegradation.

Following extensive market research into suppliers of blowers, AERZEN was identified as the best fit for the Nereda technology. With its over 150 years history of producing high-quality blowers and compressors, along with its reputation for innovation in its field of complex and demanding applications, the company was a natural partner for the Nereda community.

Markus Leidinger, Application Specialist, Wastewater Technology, at Aerzen commented: “We are excited to become a preferred supplier for the Nereda technology. We are committed to ongoing innovation and Royal HaskoningDHV’s approach to research and development complements our own. We are looking forward to working with the Nereda team and its wider community.”

René Noppeney, Global Director of Water Technology Products & Innovation at Royal HaskoningDHV, commented: “We are building a strong network of leading industry partners, whose ethos matches our own. I firmly believe that having AERZEN as one of our preferred suppliers will strengthen our wastewater technology to our customer base that stretches across the globe.”
