Marije Hulshof: “I am excited to have the opportunity to take up this role within our company and look forward to working together with our clients and the Buildings team in providing solutions for today’s and tomorrow’s built environment.”
With an annual turnover of more than €90 million, the Business Line Buildings operates across Europe, Asia, South Africa and the Middle East, providing sustainable and innovative solutions. In particular the Buildings team is focussed on creating environments which allow end users to excel in their activities. This is achieved by delivering state-of-the-art solutions over the whole building life cycle. Examples of innovative solutions include the award-winning construction for the Dutch Markthal in Rotterdam.
Hospital design and engineering
The team's track record and reputation for hospital design and engineering has resulted in a burgeoning number of international projects, such as the structural design, building services design and overall BIM/VDC management of the super University Hospital Aalborg in Denmark. The team also has a leading market position in services for data centres and R&D facilities.
Mr Anton van der Sanden will take over the Business Line Planning & Strategy. This is in addition to his current role as Business Line Director Infrastructure. Joining these two teams is a step towards fully integrating the disciplines in line with changing client expectations, requests and projects. By merging the two Business Lines, the company will have an even more integral approach in the regional, national and international market.
