Royal HaskoningDHV announced four changes to its senior management, effective 1 February 2019. Anke Mastenbroek will become Director Regional Business Line Southern Africa and CEO Royal HaskoningDHV South Africa Pty Ltd, Salani Sithole will become Chief Commercial Officer Royal HaskoningDHV South Africa Pty Ltd, Niels Schallenberg will succeed Anke as Business Line Director Water and Meike Salvadό has been appointed as Corporate Director Human Resource Management.

Anke Mastenbroek, as Director Regional Business Line Southern Africa and CEO Royal HaskoningDHV South Africa Pty Ltd. will report to Erik Oostwegel. Anke will remain a member of the Executive Council. In her new role, Anke will be responsible for the South African business as well as the operations in Mozambique and Botswana. South Africa is one of the company’s strategic markets and, under the leadership of Anke Mastenbroek, has ambitions to accelerate growth through improved focus, innovations and digital services. Salani Sithole, previously Managing Director South Africa, takes on the responsibility of Chief Commercial Officer for the Southern African operations in addition to his role as Director Industry & Buildings for South Africa.
Niels Schallenberg, previously Director Corporate Strategy, will become Business Line Director Water reporting to Erik Oostwegel. Niels remains a member of the Executive Council. He will be responsible for growing the water business globally with specific focus on amongst others smart water in cities, flood resilience in urban areas and the digital portfolio across the water business.
Meike Salvadό, previously Strategy Manager, has been appointed Corporate Director Human Resource Management and reports to CFO Nynke Dalstra. Meike will become a member of the Executive Council. She will be responsible for driving the people strategy and the organisation’s people capacity and capabilities to support the strategic priorities, with a focus on culture, digital transformation and growth.
