Royal HaskoningDHV is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for ‘Most Innovative New Technology of the Year’ in this year’s Water Industry Achievement Awards for the introduction of Nereda into the UK water sector.
The submission has been strongly supported by the six early adopters of Nereda in the UK – Anglian Water, Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, Scottish Water, Severn Trent Water, Thames Water and United Utilities – and the shortlisting of Nereda demonstrates the recognition of the step change it will bring to wastewater treatment. It is fast becoming recognised as the future in sustainable wastewater treatment, offering advantages of being compact, competitive capital cost, significantly lower opex, reliable and able to achieve very high levels of nutrient removal.
The Water Industry Achievement Awards are now in their 11th year and are designed to celebrate and reward outstanding innovation in the UK water industry. Organised by WET News and Water & Wastewater Treatment, the awards are a key event in the water sector's calendar, and are highly prized within the industry.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony during a gala dinner on Tuesday 23 May 2017 at The Vox Conference Centre, Birmingham.
