Marigot, a 100% subsidiary of Swarovski, has the aim to become one of the world’s largest manufacturers for fashion jewellery and accessories. Therefore, it decided to expand its production capacity in South East Asia and develop a new production facility in Vietnam. In the future, the intention is to expand the factory, by constructing three additional buildings similar to the building proposed as Phase 1.
The Royal HaskoningDHV office in Vietnam had been appointed for the full scope of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management services. Applying over 20 years of experience in the design of industrial facilities in Vietnam, the team provided the required high-end technical solutions expected by Marigot.
Throughout the project, Marigot was very impressed with the extensive knowledge of local construction practices and international design standards exercised by Royal HaskoningDHV. The handing over of the completed buildings, comprising nearly 18,000 m2 of production and office area and a 4,000 m2 amenity block with canteen, kitchen and sanitary facilities, which complied with all technical requirements and fitted the client’s budget and time schedule, marked the closure of the project for both Royal HaskoningDHV and a satisfied client.
