To strengthen its digital transformation capabilities, Royal HaskoningDHV has acquired Novius. Novius is a Netherlands-based management consultancy firm specialised in strategic business transformation.

Novius brings 25 years of experience in business and digital transformation and a strong track record in the public and private sector based on its renowned methodologies like the Business Transformation and Enterprise Architecture frameworks. Novius focuses on innovating and reshaping organisations and translating strategy to execution. Its client base includes Dutch organisations like Schiphol, Rabobank, City of Tilburg, AEGON, NS, ProRail and water authorities.
Royal HaskoningDHV brings almost 140 years of deep engineering and tech knowledge and more than 25 years of digital capabilities like data science, predictive simulation and software development. The recently launched Royal HaskoningDHV Digital with its portfolio of consultancy and software solutions, supports clients in sectors such as water, industry and mobility in the optimisation of their operations through digital transformation.
Novius will become part of Royal HaskoningDHV Digital. Together they will unite over 250 digital experts.

Since launching its new strategy in 2017 with a clear focus on data and digital, Royal HaskoningDHV has been introducing new digital ways of working, new digital services and is co-creating with clients, start-ups, strategic partners and acquisitions for solutions with real impact. Acquisitions include data science company Ynformed, hybrid software & consultancy firm Lanner and flood-related digital services company Ambiental.
September 2020 Royal HaskoningDHV took the next step in its digital strategy by launching Royal HaskoningDHV Digital to deliver digital consultancy and software solutions. Royal HaskoningDHV Digital includes the abovementioned acquisitions and provides proprietary software such as Aquasuite and Flowtack.
