Bridges bring people together, to meet, share ideas, and enjoy each other’s company. They cross divides, connect the economy, and empower societies to thrive. Bridges aren’t just infrastructure. They’re cultural symbols, fascinating in their design and appealing to the imagination.

This vision plays a key role in our projects. At Royal HaskoningDHV Southern Africa, we use our extensive expertise to ensure that infrastructure contributes to and enhances society.

Bridges and ancillary structures play a critical role in ensuring that Africa’s expanding road network can transport people and goods safely and economically. We want to have a positive impact on communities, through job creation, skills development, road safety education, and environmental custodianship.

Our multidisciplinary specialists work on local and national road and railway projects, from multiple locations around the world. Drawing inspiration from the environment and our global experience, every bridge that we design is unique, rational, and functional.

Our services include:

  • Architectural, structural, and mechanical bridge design,
  • Feasibility studies,
  • Site and environmental assessments,
  • Engineering and construction supervision, and
  • Bridge management and maintenance.
