Maintaining, restoring, renovating or converting a (national) listed building requires sound expertise. Royal HaskoningDHV is an experienced specialist in subsidy applications, permits and changes to local environmental legislation and registering your listed building in the heritage register.

Our heritage building inspectors inspect the quality and any defects of your listed buildings, drawing up appraisal reports and giving independent second opinions. Our specialized consultants then consider what improvements can be made to your listed building and describe and detail the sustainability options.

We can also conduct condition assessments of your listed buildings, resulting in a sustainable long-term maintenance plan. We can also provide support for maintenance, conversion and restoration work.

It is important that the original design of your listed building is respected and that conversions reflect the historical quality and value of the monument. We actively contribute to devise solutions. If required, we provide budget estimates and support the execution of the plan.

To ensure smooth, fast and effective implementation of your projects, we play a coordinating role, maintaining close contact with environmental departments, consultants from the cultural heritage agency of the Netherlands, heritage (building) contractors and architects.
