Ponds and sandbanks help avoid the need for fences

The buildings are energy efficient, flexible and future proof. Flexible construction concepts were used as well as modular assembly of building installations. A healthy working environment was key for the development and an underfloor climate-control system was introduced.

The surrounding area of dunes and proximity to main traffic routes also required creative solutions. To reinforce the connection with its setting, ponds and sandbanks were included in the landscaping which contributed to the need for a highly secure environment without the use of unsightly fences.
