Vaclav Havel Airport in Prague is the only international civil aviation airport in the greater Prague area. It serves both traditional as well low cost airliners which is sometime less effective for lowcosters. It also generates a pressure to open a new airport in surroundings of the capital to get the advantage of lower airport fees and free lots. Companies of private sector from Switzerland, Germany and Slovakia are very active in immediate proximity of Prague. InterVistas, our sister company in Vancouver, CAN, has been approached by private equity investor from Switzerland to prepare scenario analysis to rebuilt training airport in Mnichovo Hradistě, some 30-45 min. on the North from Prague. We deliver the catchment area traffic analysis as well as accessibility analysis to InterVistas. Another local airport project is developed by private equity investor PENTA investment group in Letňany, Prague.
