Royal HaskoningDHV (RHDHV) has been awarded the Jetty inspections and load capacity assessments of Coffs Harbour historic timber jetty.
The jetty is composed of 364 piles, 60 headstocks and 3557 m2 of timber decking. Following a major reconfiguration in mid 90’s.
The jetty has been regularly maintained and repaired over its life, with the most recent activity been the inclusion of an additional 30 piles two years ago.
The aim of this project is to report on the condition and capacity of the jetty to allow Coffs Harbour Council to manage this asset effectively.
The engineering investigations (including underwater and rope access) has been undertaken to a Part 1 Visual Assessment in accordance with the Wharf Structure Condition Assessment Manual (WSCAM, June 2014).
