From a hidden business estate to a sustainable and profitable Business ParkThe Business Park was founded in 2010 after the assets of the business estate at the time were taken over by the current shareholders: Stork, Province of Noord-Brabant and the municipality of Woensdrecht. The aim is to manage and optimise the current assets (buildings, infrastructure, land). We do this based on effective maintenance of the assets, smarter lay-out and structure of the parking and security facilities, and improving the park’s image and marketing. These measures are designed to attract new businesses and retain existing clients.
Asset Management as an AssociationPark management was set up with the businesses currently established in the park. Asset management was organised in an association, of which all businesses currently established are a member and shareholder. As the park manager, Royal HaskoningDHV is the managing agent of these associated companies.
Comprehensive method Tailored Asset OptimisationAs the Park Asset Manager, we started with eliminating overdue maintenance of the assets. We also perform operations and maintenance of the premises. Effective security is a crucial basic requirement in view of the products and services provided by the companies involved.
As the park Asset Manager, we also take initiatives to increase the property and park value, among others by ensuring the park has a good look and feel and has smartly designed parking facilities.
In addition to our role as the Park Asset Manager, we advise on Asset Management of buildings, the airport functionality (by NACO) and infrastructure.
