A great bok as the result of broad cooperation

Pascal Lamberigts and Liesbeth Schipper – both strategy and management consultants with Royal HaskoningDHV – wrote the book Shared Ownership (original title is in Dutch: ‘Gedeeld Eigenaarschap’) together with many colleagues, clients and relations. The book contains views, approaches and practically-applicable guides for shaping and supervising collaborative ventures between organisations professionally.Pascal Lamberigts: “We’re really overjoyed with this nomination! We see it as validation of our belief that collaborating well is a discipline, which can contribute effectively to tackling issues like the energy transition, climate change and urban and regional competitiveness.”The knowledge and experience in the book has been accumulated over some 15 years, and is now also being applied to the fullest in the assignments for our clients. Liesbeth Schipper: “For instance, we are currently applying our body of thought to the challenge shared between public and private parties of attracting the World Expo to Rotterdam. Or to the process of arriving at a regionally-supported accessibility package for the Eindhoven metropolitan region.”
Initiatives are being taken within the ‘Praktijknetwerk Gedeeld Eigenaarschap’ (Shared Ownership Practice Network) to apply the body of thought in practice, and to evolve it further in cooperation with clients and relations. Pascal Lamberigts: “One particularly appealing example, in my view, is the development of a ‘learning environment’ in which the Waterschap Vechtstromen water board wants to collaborate with its partners on a Climate-Active Region. The water authority is now exploring the wishes and possibilities inherent in ‘shared ownership’ with the University of Twente, its partners in the region and Royal HaskoningDHV.”
