Royal HaskoningDHV South Africa has been selected by Stellenbosch University to scan its Natural Science Building and convert the data into a Building Information Modelling (BIM) representation.

As part of the first phase of the Digital Facility Master Plan, Royal HaskoningDHV will help the University to adopt and implement digital ways of working and advance its digital transformation. In capturing data about Stellenbosch’s existing infrastructure, it will be able to make better, more informed decisions about its assets.

Royal HaskoningDHV has been a partner to Stellenbosch University for a number of years. We leaned into this relationship and relied on our knowledge of the client’s business and operations to help co-create a digitisation journey that could potentially include a Digital Twin of its facilities and infrastructure in future. This is in pilot phase.

I-BIM principles (including BEP and tooling like BIM360 and Revit), CDE environments (Asite and Workflows), and automation will drive this project.
