Royal HaskoningDHV will be presenting Nereda® technology with its French partner Sources SA at a major water event, to be held in Rennes at the end of January 2019.
The Nereda team will be in attendance on the stand of its French licensee, Sources SA at Carrefour Des Gestions Locales De L’Eau. The team will be there to discuss the proven solution of the future to purify municipal and industrial wastewater, and the successful rollout of the Nereda technology worldwide.
On 30 January, between 17.30 and 18.00, Nereda and Sources’ representatives will also be presenting at the event. Antoine Legrand (Sales Director) and Emmanuel Aubron (Regional Director) from Sources, along with Jean Philippe (Process Engineer at Royal HaskoningDHV) will be delivering their seminar ‘Villa Calypseau®: la station d’épuration de demain, économe et esthétique, utilisant la maîtrise de la granulation des boues biologiques’ (‘Villa Calypseau®: the treatment plant of tomorrow, economical and aesthetic, using aerobic granular sludge technology’).
12,000 visitors are expected to attend this year’s event, which is the 20th anniversary of Carrefour de l’Eau. Every year this major event, one of the largest in France, mobilises many business and private partners, and hosts more than 70 conferences, practical workshops, testimonies, demonstrations, technical focus and debates.
Last year’s event closed its doors having seen 1,1400 attendees, an increase of 12% compared to 2017. At the end of this January, almost 500 exhibitors will be in attendance in three halls installed for two days on the Expo Park at Rennes Airport. It provides the opportunity for the foremost experts in their fields to meet and discuss the most important current issues in the water industry relating to the themes of ecology and the environment.
Sources SA is the Nereda licence holder throughout France. This unique professional event is a key way for Nereda and Sources to communicate their vision of wastewater purification in the future, and how the companies plan to change the approach to wastewater treatment and its impact on the environment.
Over the course of two days there will be 70 conferences and debates, 15 thematic courses, a scientific seminar a session dedicated to elected representatives. There’s 10,000 m² over three halls, with a dozen sectors represented and multiple session formats, including conferences, screenings, workshops, demos and an awards ceremony. There will also be more than 25 industry journalists present to cover the event.
