Royal HaskoningDHV’s digital engineering processes have been certified against the requirements of the Building Information Modelling (BIM) capability and ISO 19650 following an assessment conducted by Lloyd’s Register. The certification is applicable to Royal HaskoningDHV’s operations in 6 countries, providing clients with better solutions, faster delivery times, improved risk management and better sustainability.
ISO 19650 is the international standard for managing digital information throughout the life cycle of built assets and construction projects of all sizes and levels of complexity. This includes large estates, infrastructure networks, individual buildings and pieces of infrastructure and the projects that deliver them. The standard applies to the entire delivery and operational phase of built assets.
“The BIM/ISO 19650 certification is a recognition of our strategy on digital ways of working, that places BIM in a central role. We’re digitalising our delivery by automating and integrating daily work with data-driven and BIM enabled processes.”

Better and faster solutions
“We strongly believe BIM is changing the way we work in our industry and it is here to stay. The value is in beginning with the end in mind: to consider the information requirements of the asset owners and its uses first, and then work backwards through construction, through design and into planning phases of a project. Working like this allows us to improve service efficiency, quality, and performance. Royal HaskoningDHV is committed to passing on all the benefits to our clients.”

“Royal HaskoningDHV had a BIM Level 2 certificate with LR since 2017 which initially covered their UK operations. By extending their certification to include their global operations and by transitioning to ISO 19650, they demonstrated their commitment to have an effective process in place which has been audited to the highest standard.”
