Jaska de Bakker, Chief Financial Officer, has regrettably accepted a role outside our company, based abroad and will leave Royal HaskoningDHV as of 1 October 2016. From that time, and until such time as a replacement can be found, Corporate Director Nynke Dalstra will take over Jaska’s finance responsibilities in the Executive Board.

In addition, Henry Rowe will start working part-time leading up to his retirement in a year’s time. During the coming year he will continue to represent the Company as an Executive Director reporting directly to the Executive Board.

Going forward, the Supervisory Board of Royal HaskoningDHV has decided the Executive Board will consist of two members; a CEO and CFO.

These changes will not affect our Clients nor will it have impact on our projects. Royal HaskoningDHV has a strong leadership team and the company has a relentless focus on quality, sustainability and innovation for the benefit of clients and societies all over the world.

Joop van Oosten, Chairman of the Supervisory Board: “I would like to express my greatest appreciation and gratitude to Henry Rowe and Jaska de Bakker for their contributions in the Executive Board. I thank Henry for being with us for another year so that we can continue to benefit from his wealth of experience and knowledge as well as his client relationships. I fully respect Jaska’s decision as it has been her longstanding wish to live and work abroad again with her family. We regret to see her go in October. She will leave behind an impressive legacy and I wish her all the best in her future endeavours.”

Henry Rowe (64) joined Posford & Partners in 1980, which became part of Haskoning in 1994. Henry became a member of the Executive Board of Haskoning in 2008 and of Royal HaskoningDHV in 2012. Jaska de Bakker (45) joined DHV’s Executive Board in 2010 as CFO and became an Executive Board member of Royal HaskoningDHV in 2012.
