Royal HaskoningDHV expertise in Renewable Energy

Meet us at the Royal HaskoningDHV Stand

Royal HaskoningDHV will be present at this year’s Wind Days 2016 where we share our insights and be on hand to advise on major developments in wind energy and also show you how together with Infinergy, our developments in sustainable energy – particularly wind – can help clients with large energy demands and challenging sustainability goals. Our experts will be available throughout the Wind Days at stand 12.

Adding Value and Expertise at Every Turn

With more than 40 years of experience in the design and construction of onshore wind farms around the world, we have been working at the forefront of wind energy since the beginning.

We have supported offshore wind farms from the first near-shore projects to today’s ambitious multi-gigawatt projects in the North Sea and have assisted the development and delivery of wind projects across UK, Europe and globally.

Side event North Sea Energy Symposium: Gas meets Wind

Under the Dutch Presidency of the European Union, political declaration on collaboration among countries within the North Sea Region will be defined. First steps towards increased smart collaboration between the gas, wind and grid operators in the North Sea will be made during the Gas meets Wind Symposium.

The need for a joint approach will be ratified and sealed during the Symposium by the Dutch Wind Energy Association (NWEA) and the Dutch Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Association (NOGEPA) by signing of the ‘North Sea Co-Operation’ manifesto.

Energy specialists from North Sea countries will convene to discuss: how gas, wind and grid offshore operators may coordinate their activities; how to co-operate on addressing energy conversion, storage and transport; and how to collaborate in practice via joint projects.

The symposium will address both the long-term perspectives co-operation as well as short-term business opportunities during the round table sessions. The latter is done by zooming in on concrete joint projects or project options, in which offshore wind, gas and grid operators work together.

Royal HaskoningDHV is proud to be part of the organizing committee. Alistair Davison, Senior Expert Offshore Renewables of Royal HaskoningDHV will join the Round Table and together with our other colleagues he will be happy to discuss our view in more detail.
