Royal HaskoningDHV is sponsoring the Mining Technology Division Conference “Current Developments in the UK Mining Industry”, held in London later this year. The conference seeks to “bring together representatives of the various companies involved in UK Mining, in order to hear about their current operations and to outline their future plans and aspirations”.

Recent technological advancements, increasing commodity prices, and an internal focus on UK investment have resulted in a resurgence of the UK mining industry. Expansion of existing mines and new developments will seek to supplement the country’s robust quarrying industry.

The conference will include presentations by representatives from several of the UK’s leading mine projects. Royal HaskoningDHV are actively involved in a number of UK developments and will be showcasing their expertise as part of the conference.

The conference, exhibition, and dinner takes place over two days from Wednesday 4th to Thursday 5th October. As a sponsor Royal HaskoningDHV will have a table top exhibition stand at the venue.

Marco Maestri, Director of Royal HaskoningDHV’s Mining Group in the UK will be in attendance accompanied by members of the Royal HaskoningDHV mining technical team.
