Royal HaskoningDHV’s maritime economics and operations consultancy group Ocean Shipping Consultants (OSC) is delighted to be part of the 8th Black Sea Ports and Shipping 2019 conference and exhibition taking place in Romania from 9-11 July.
Principal Consultant Nishal Sooredoo is speaking at the event, with his session entitled ‘Observing economic opportunities in transportation and logistics trade. What can be offered to attract global investors?’ He will also take the role of conference moderator on the second day of the event.
Nishal commented: “I’m really looking forward to the Black Sea event, as this is a very exciting and challenging time for the ports industry. The shipping market is being restructured in a way that presents many opportunities but also creates a number of new challenges for terminal operators.
“During my presentation, I will give a summary of recent trends in the ports and shipping market, with a focus on the specific impact that these are having on terminal operators. We’ll also explore how they are adapting to face those new market dynamics.
“The Black Sea region is an integral part of the global shipping market and I look forward to exploring together the current and future port structures across the region, as well as new opportunities for investors.”
The 8th Black Sea Ports and Shipping 2019 is the largest ports, shipping and transport logistics exhibition and conference trade event in the Black Sea region, designed to promote trade and transport throughout the region.
