In recent years I have led several large multi-disciplinary hydraulical projects. A number of these projects take place in complex administrative, sometimes fast changing, circumstances. A lot of parties (stakeholders) are often involved. Applying good process management is essential (i.e. Dike Reinforcement Projects Edam-Amsterdam and Gorinchem-Waardenburg).

As a project manager I am involved in several plan studies on a regular basis, e.g Room for the River projects like Groyne Modification river Rhine and Water Storage Volkerak Zoommeer.

I have also participated as a project manager and hydraulic specialist in several D&C teams on the contractor’s side (i.e. HSL (High Speed Railway Link), Fish passage Amerongen & Hagestein, Extension Pumping Station Ijmuiden, Dike Reinforcement Ameland). Additionally, I have experience in the construction phase on the client’s side (i.e. contract management dredging the Twentekanaal).

As a specialist I have worked on projects involving applied hydraulics as well as nautical and environmental engineering.

Finally, I am qualified in risk management on small and major infrastructural projects.

My broad hydraulical project and process experience, gained in all project phases (plan study, design and construction) on both the client’s or contractor’s side.
